Membership Application

Membership with the Societas Heraldica Slovenica will require an annual membership fee of € 15 ($20 USD). There are two ways to pay for membership.

  2. Fill out this application form, and press "Print this application form" button located at the bottom of this page, and mail this along with an International Money Order made out to "SHS" and mail to:

Special Notice

The Societas Heraldica Slovenica at this time, is not accepting payments for membership, as the project is under development and not setup to accept payments at this time. However, the Society encourages individuals to submit their membership application form and join the Society as "initial members". As initial members, you will have the opportunity to help development the project by offering your input, ideas, advice and consultation in order to enhance the project and Society, and we would also ask that as initial members, you would help us test the website, forums, library access and other features available on this website, for the public and for the members only areas. The Society would greatly appreciate your contribution to the project at this point in its development.

  As a member of the Society, you will be automatically invited to subscribe to the Society's internal egroup entitled "Slovensko grboslovje / Slovenian heraldry", an email based notification system which is private, secured and accessible only to members of the Society. The egroup will be where new developments and activities of the Society will be posted, and is a good place where members can offer their own questions, input, ideas, criticisms, suggestions to the Society. You can modify your profile in the egroup to receive notices individually, in the form of a daily digest or visit the egroup website only. (free with membership)

The applicant understands that the collection of the information collected in this online application form is for the sole purpose for the evaluation and review of applicant in order to determine or decline their membership application. Should the candidate member succeed the evaluation and review, and the membership payment has been validated, the applicant will be invited to join the Societas Heraldica Slovenica or SHS. Some or all of the information provided in this online form may be used for the creation and population of the candidate's online "roll of arms". All information provided by the applicant shall not be used for the purpose of promoting products and/or services of any kind. Once the material becomes available online, The SHS cannot provide any guarantees on the safe and/or consented usage of the information displayed in the public Internet on the SHS website and therefore is released from all accountability in that regard. The applicant understands the conditions and will select either "Yes" in agreement or "No" in disagreement. By not selecting either "Yes" or "No", the SHS will assume that the candidate is in agreement.
