The arms represent the family Egkh (Egck) who were titulars who possessed hereditary estate rights in Carniola (10); a member of the Egkh was commandery of the German Order of Knights in Ljubljana (28); a member of the Egkh was a general in Karlovac (37); a member of the family was a provincial administrator of Carniola (48); a Carniolian officer (51); a vice-governor of Carniola (58); a member of the provincial committee of Carniola (65); were a noble family that possessed estates in Carniola (107); were also a noble family recognized in Styria (201 - note: here the crest sinister was depicted with two wings displayed, the dexter per pale Argent and Gules, the sinister per pale Gules and Argent, both charged with a crescent counterchanged) and Carinthia (246). |
