Overview

The membership resources page is a listing of online resources, manuscripts and articles made available to SHS members only. This area is continuously under development as more resources are accumulated for the benefit of the membership for their study of the art and science of heraldry.

How does this work?

The individual applying for membership must fill out an online membership application form. It is during the filling out of the application form, that the individual is encouraged to list the heraldry related publications in their possession. Members who have rare heraldic publications or resources are encouraged to digitize the resources and make it available to the Society so as to share these invaluable resources with its membership. If the new member does not have resources to digitize the manuscript, we encourage them to contact the SHS directly and perhaps some workable solution can be derived.

Members of the Society are encouraged to contact the administrator should the member acquire an interesting antique publication related to heraldry and are willing to digitize the material. As the number of members grow, and the volume of material in the online resources grows, the resources will become an invaluable resource for any member engaged in heraldic research.
